With the urban life being so bored with the types of pork, chicken, beef … nowadays venison is one of the foods that are very popular.
Step 1
Use pureed venison with other meats. Ground venison is great for sandwiches, meat sandwiches and as a substitute for ground beef in recipes, but is especially suited to chili dishes. Whether you want to cook pure venison or combine it with a small portion of beef stew or pork sausage, venison is a great staple for a delicious chili. Half a kilogram of venison can cook 8-12 servings.
“Chili meat” refers to the type of meat finer than the regular ground venison. If you want more pureed meat, you can ask the butcher “to cook chili” or buy a meat blender to grind it yourself.
If you like Texas-style chili then the casseroles are more suitable, and you’ll have to cook at low heat for a longer time, although the basic ingredients and techniques are the same.
Step 2
Stir fry the ground venison and onion for gold. Place 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a thick bottom pot and add the ground venison. Use a wooden spoon to stir the meat to gold. Just before the meat turns dark brown, add a medium-sized yellow onion, a diced red pepper and 3-4 chopped garlic cloves into the pot.

Step 3
Put the beans and ground tomatoes in the pot. When the onions start to brown, add the beans and tomatoes. If you like, you can use a dehydrated can of red kidney beans or a mixture of red beans, navy beans and chickpeas. About 340 g of beans are perfect.
Use a 500 g box of ground tomatoes, add 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce to make chili. If you want to use fresh tomatoes, you can chop up 4 ripe tomatoes. Watch out and add some water if the chili needs more water.
If you don’t like beans, you can follow your favorite chili recipe. The venison goes well with most green chili recipes or other chili styles that may suit your taste. Try your favorite flavors and spices to see if it tastes better when cooked with venison.
Step 4
Season with 3-4 tablespoons of chili powder. Season the chili into the pot according to your taste. If you like to eat really spicy, you can add more chili powder or more spicy chili, with 1 teaspoon cumin, cayenne pepper and other spices you want to add to your chili. If you do not like to eat too spicy, you can season with sage leaves, cumin, coriander powder and other aromatic spices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
For a signature chlii flavor, you will need to add some chili powder. Give little by little; If necessary, you can add it later very easily.

Step 5
Cover the pot and simmer over low heat for at least 1 hour. Turn to low heat, open the pot and simmer chili for 2 hours. You can cook the meat for about 30 minutes, but the flavor will blend better if you cook for at least 1-2 hours. Taste the dish after 30 minutes to taste again and add paprika if needed. Serve with corn cake.
If you prefer, you can also transfer chili to a slow cooker and cook all day or overnight to absorb the flavor. In general, this dish cooks for as long as possible.
